Samden Sherpa KCC English Teacher
Samden is a KCC English teacher living in Namche with her husband and KCC instructor Nyima Tsering. She has worked with KCC in 2013, 2014, and 2016. She teaches KCC English classes focused on medical terminology and mountain landscape. She has also taught English classes for KCC on geography, map and compass, and birds. Samden also has a lodge and bakery at Dingboche called the Snowlion Lodge and French Bakery. The Lodge and Bakery open in March for the trekking season and serve cakes, brownies, apple pie, and cheesecake.
