Leo Lloyd RN/Paramedic

Leo is currently the EMS Training Captain and Technical Response Team Coordinator with Durango Fire & Rescue in Durango, Colorado.  Leo's medical/rescue experience ranges from ground ambulance and mountain rescue paramedic responsibilities in the Durango area since the mid-1980s to 9 years as a critical care flight nurse/paramedic with the San Juan Regional Medical Center Air Care Flight Program based in Farmington, New Mexico.  Leo has been an active volunteer for La Plata County Search and Rescue in Durango since 1985.  He is a senior instructor with Rigging for Rescue based in Ouray, Colorado.  Leo is also a Level I Avalanche Instructor for the Silverton Avalanche School.  In addition to being an active climber (rock and ice), ultra runner,  and backcountry skier, Leo is also a husband (wife Susie) and father of three boys.
