Pemba Tshering Sherpa Assistant Instructor
Pemba is a Phortse local and Everest legacy as his father Mountain guided in the 90s. Pemba began working as a mountain guide in 2012, at the age of 16. Pemba is an Honors graduate of both the KCC Basic and Advanced courses. He has additional certifications in first response and is a helicopter marshal. Pemba first reached the summit of Everest in 2016. That same year, he also summited Cho Oyu. Pemba is currently an IMG mountain guide and began as a KCC assistant instructor in 2017.
